PEOPLE
JOHN DOYLE
​
John Doyle is the Managing Director of Equine Nutrients Component (EqNC), having founded the company in 2018, he is pursuing his interest to provide the Equine Industry with access to science-based education, research and equine supplements.
​
He is also the Managing Director of Integrated Animal Production Pty Ltd (IAP) which he founded in 1997. IAP provides consultancy services to beef, dairy and sheep industries within Australia as well as South Africa, Indonesia, the USA and Argentina. John's primary focus has been within the feedlot industry.
​
John was raised in San Antonio, Texas, USA and following undergraduate studies in Biology (Texas Lutheran College), completed a Masters in Nutrition (University of Arizona) and, after several years within the industry,returned to complete veterinarian studies (Tuskegee Institute, School of Veterinarian Medicine, Tuskegee, AL). While practicing veterinary medicine he obtained his PhD in Nutrition in 1989 (Texas A & M University). After broad experiences in feedmill management, nutritional consultancy and as a practicing Veterinarian in the USA, John moved to Australia in 1993.

Aside from consultancy, John has a keen interest in helping others increase their knowledge through research and education. He has served as Adjunct Associate Professor at the Queensland School of Veterinary Medicine and contributes to the University of Queensland's School of Animal Science with an animal industry lecture series.
​
Although he is a permanent resident of Australia, John maintains his involvement in the family goat and beef ranch in Texas.
IMKE QUAST

Imke Quast is the newest Equine Nutrient Components (EqNC) Team Member, taking on the Marketing section within the company.
​
Imke studied agriculture at the University of Applied Science in Osnabrueck, Germany finishing with a Diploma Agrar Ingenieur (Agricultural Engineer), majoring in equestrian marketing.
​
Imke has previously worked for and with the ACE Group Inc, first as Company Director of the ACE Group Pty Ltd and later as Breed Director for the ACE Group Inc, an Australian Warmblood and Performance Horse Studbook.
During her time with the ACE Group Inc, Imke’s responsibilities included the organisation of the annual Breeding and Assessment Tours, the introduction of the ACE Horse Passport, the formalisation of all studbooks and primarily leading the ACE Group Inc. into the successful recognition with the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH).
​
Prior to this, Imke worked within the Australian Beef Feedlot industry where she has been responsible for Quality Assurance Management, implementing national as well as international rules and regulations. This involved facing and jumping numerous hurdles, motivating staff, reorganising and improving existing structures; in 2012 the Feedlot was awarded with the 2012 best Quality Assurance Management Award as well as Feedlot of the Year 2012 Award in its section.
